Enkele Jaren geleden heb ik samen met mijn collega’s van The Far Go Traders de theatermuziek verzorgd bij theatergroep Weerschijn te Den Haag.

Dit was het stuk dat we daarvoor gebruikten.

Ik heb een nieuwe tekst gemaakt die bij het toneelstuk paste en ik heb in dit geval live gezongen bij de uitvoeringen. Dat laatste is echter in lang niet alle gevallen nodig. Ik kan zowel gezongen als instrumentale theatermuziek verzorgen, zowel live als op band/tape/wav file/cd.

Ik kan zowel in opdracht werken (dan maak ik speciaal voor het theaterstuk de muziek) of een deel van ons bestaande werk inzetten (dat laatste is uiteraard goedkoper).

Hieronder (scroll naar beneden onder het Engelse deel) wat voorbeelden van tracks waaruit desgewenst gekozen kan worden indien u kiest voor het inzetten van (aangepaste versies van) ons bestaande werk. Van onderstaande tracks zijn ook de instrumentals (deels) bruikbaar, plus van alle songs van het Chabliz-album “Straight Stories” dat te vinden is op iTunes, Spotify, etc.

De tracks met een sterretje (*) zijn zelf geschreven/gecomponeerd.

Theatre music:

 

A few years ago I created theatre music together with my colleagues from The Far Go Traders at theater group Weerschijn in The Hague.
This was the piece we used. 

I made a new text that matched the play and I sang it live at the performances. The latter, however, is by no means necessary in all cases. I can provide both sung and instrumental theatre music, both live and on tape / wav file / cd  or mp3.

I can work both on assignment (then I make the music especially for the play) or use part of my/our existing work (the latter is cheaper of course).

Below are some examples of tracks that can be selected if you choose to use (adapted versions of) our existing work. Of the tracks below, the instrumentals are (partly) usable, plus all songs from the Chabliz album Straight Stories which can be found on iTunes, Spotify, etc.

The tracks with an asterisk (*) are self-written / composed.

• We Failed * (popnoir/ dark wave). Een donker mid-tempo nummer, melancholiek en licht-somber. A dark-melancholic song.
• Poppies in Flanders Fields* (jazzy start, Wagnerian final, gothicjazz, rock, opera). Een song over de gevallen soldaten in WO1 en elders. Een droevige maar ook heftige song voor en over oorlogsveteranen. Het start als een jazzballad maar eindigt met Wagneriaanse rock, operazang en exploderende gebouwen (actie).
• Two Boys * (melancholic, dark film music, orchestral Nordic Noir). Een droevige ballade met een intens droevige cello solo erin.
• The Forest * (film music, slow music, Nordic Noir, artpop). Een song over een donker, mysterieus bos, erg filmisch:
• Butterfly – jazzy song * Na een langzaam, jazzy intro wordt het een vrolijk dansbaar uptempo jazznummer met funk invloeden. Connect to My Song * (Dance, Edm), uptempo / midtempo dance, energiek.
• Go into the future * (Edm, Dance, Eurodance, gothicdance, midtempo, dansbaar)
• Billie Jean (artjazz, gothic jazz, popnoir, classic, punk, opera, avantgarde pop, funeral).
• Lady Grinning Soul (David Bowie, artrock, pop, de start is midtempo maar later barst het los).
• Stop the Rain * (hardrock, energetic, numetal with male choir and children choir).
• You Were Meant for Me (artrock, popnoir, slow-midtempo).
• Imitating Angels (rock-noir, new wave, artrock, eighties, energetic, uptempo, gothicrock, arty rock).
